Meet No Apologies

Phil Fibelkorn - Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards

I remember growing up in Texas listening to Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Ted Nugent, Alex Lifeson (Rush), Angus Young (AC/DC), Frank Marino, Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, Michael & Rudolf Schenker, Ulrich Roth, & Matthias Jabs (The Scorpions & UFO), KK Downing & Glenn Tipton (Judas Priest).
I remember begging my parents to let me buy a Les Paul or Flying V so I could be like my guitar heroes, but of course in typical parental fashion I was told to focus on my schoolwork and not on the music of Satan (yes I am a preacher's kid). Now fast-forward to an evening in 2000, I attend a Robert Cray & Frank Harrison concert and watch both of them just tear up a Stratocaster.
Two things happened that next day! I went to the nearest guitar store and bought a Fender Stratocaster and I stopped to eat Chinese and to this day I still have what was in my fortune cookie:
" Your love of music will be an important part of your life "
and the rest is history baby!
Ezell Underdown - Guitar and Backing Vocals

Favorite Guitarist: Hendrix. His incredible rhythm playing still inspires countless guitarists. Song: Nothing Else Matters by Metallica. Those haunting arpeggios are what made me pick up a guitar. Book: Grapes of Wrath. Steinbeck eloquently depicted both the strength of human will and the frailty of human nature. Poem: Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard by Thomas Gray. Read it, think about it, read it again, think some more. Quote: "Always do what you are afraid to do." Ralph Waldo Emerson
Scott Keeton - Lead Vocals

I was (and am) the guy singing to himself in the hallway and office at work, in the shower at home and in the car. Growing up in New Orleans and singing in a traveling quartet, I was bombarded with some of the best music around. Then I heard Holy Diver. A life changing experience. From there my influences ran heavy but not to hard core to punk/pop. Vocal influences come from Steve Perry, Dennis DeYoung, Sebastian Bach, David Coverdale, the immortal Freddy Mercury, Bono, Eddie Vedder, Jon Bon Jovi and on and on.
I moved to Columbus in January 2004 and found myself in karaoke bars having a great time doing all the rockers and ballads that bring people back to the "Glory Days". Then I recently saw the Poison/Cinderella concert and found myself entertaining the people around me song for song, lick for lick. That was my music! It was there when I decided to get back on the horse and get in front of people again. Karaoke just couldn't do it for me anymore. Now I get to sing my favorite songs all night with good people, for good people & I don't have to wait in line!
Sean Baker - Drums
I was born and raised in Columbus and have been playing drums since 1983. My influences include Tommy Lee, John Bonham and Neil Peart just to name a few. I have played with several other bands on the local circuit since 2002 before joining No Apologies in 2006.
Dudley Townsend - Bass
Dudley has been playing bass well before he could walk, so watch out Geddy Lee!
